Headsets are an extremely freeing way of communicating with callees. Headsets are an increasingly popular way of using modern telephony software such as 3CX, as it serves as a simple solution for staff to remain focussed on their call, and save your morning beverage from accidental hand knocks!
How to set up your audio/video settings'
Go to “Settings” in your web client or desktop app.
To set your 3CX Audio/Video settings:
- Press the "..." and tap settings.
- In Settings, tap Audio/Video.
- In "Use this device for calls", make sure to choose Desktop App (if you're using your 3CX desktop App) or Browser (if you're using your WebClient).
- In "Ringer", tick the Allow call pop-up to steal focus on incoming calls.
- In Audio/Video, make sure you set up the correct Camera, Speaker and Microphone to connect to your 3CX App. You can also integrate your Yealink headset to your 3CX App.
Note:
To fully optimise your 3CX App, please make sure to use the updated version of 3CX (v18).
